The displayed hourly amount is the tutor’s published minimum, not a final course quote. The final course rate and schedule are negotiated later. For a Custom Group, the selected tier remains provisional until the accepted roster is frozen and INFIX recalculates matching.
1:1 activation rule
After submission, INFIX freezes the demand and releases the selected tier, direct invitations, and configured open opportunity.

Tutor ID invitations are optional. Students who do not already know a tutor may use INFIX recommendations immediately. Once a direct invitation is released, a later recommendation refresh waits until that tutor accepts, declines, or expires.

Students do not select recommendation tiers. At five students, INFIX ranks up to three approved Public Batch tutors, offers the assignment sequentially, and calculates the strongest shared timetable from every student’s two weekly windows and the accepted tutor’s three windows.
